	Long Island Bombers The Long Island Bombers are a dedicated group of baseball enthusiasts from the Long Island and Tri-state area. They just happen to be blind and visually impaired . They hold rigorous practices, instructional clinics and play exhibition and competitive games against sighted and other visually impaired teams in the Metropolitan area. The combined efforts of our players, volunteers and supporters are what make the Long Island Bombers successful. Beep Baseball is an adapted version of our national pastime, and with the use of a ball and bases that beep, it enables your Long Island Bombers and other teams from all over the U.S. and Taiwan, to enjoy and engage in team competition, but it brings the thrill of sport that everyone loves to individuals who either have low vision or who are totally blind! The Long Island Bombers Beep Baseball Team Hosts the Sixth Annual Long Island Classic Sponsored by the Mineola Lions Club Saturday June 25, 2011 at Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY (Intramural Softball Fields North and South - adjacent to the Field Hockey Stadium and opposite the former training site for the NY Jets) Featuring: Long Island Bombers, Boston Renegades, Pennsylvania Wolfpack, New Jersey Lightning Game times: 9 am, 11:30 am, and 3 pm Welcome to the Long Island Bombers 2011 Season Welcome to the Long Island Bombers fourteen season of providing Beep Baseball to those in and around the Long Island Greater New York area.
